I was actually hoping that you would use your power, because from now on, enemies have elemental weaknesses. Also later on, I won't be choosing which enemies appear, I'll be using a generator to determine which ones you get and most have elemental weaknesses, some of which none of you have chosen yet (such as ice). So it should highten the possibility of a character death, I will say that at least one person will lose their character during this RP, possibly even me.

Okay so, the current places that are available to start in are: Tamathy Castle (which is having a bit of a crisis right now, on the ground level) and Tamathy City, which is pretty much just a circular city built around the main castle. Kind of like Midgar in FF7, except everything is on ground level.

I guess you'll just have to hope and pray that you take the hits for them. Another thing is that the target that the enemy chooses is also chosen by a randomizer, there is no bias in this rp.
Plus I have mentioned in the past that I don't completely disapprove of you lending money to new members, so long as you notify me. However, money will become tight and equipment will become expensive later on and it will be everyone for themselves.

Hopefully that doesn't happen, that will make the story very complicated indeed.

Just like any normal RPG, it is uncertain how strong you need to be to defeat certain enemies, until its too late. I'm following RPG rules here, you die, you die. Plus I enjoy the amount of uncertainty there is, I prefer to keep it that way~

I'm sure you could just make a character who was from the same place as he was or something. If not, then you could just post his backstory here instead.

And yeah, the ninja will be making an appearance. She's also been modified for battle too, but her stats are much too high for any of you to face, even together.

Indeed, I already had her written down as a character before this was started (though the connection with her and Askardi was simply improvisation) and I was toying with a "hit and miss" system, where in battle there was a chance of attacks missing. And enemies would have evasion stats, but I thought it was WAAAAYYYYY too complicated and would require so much time to calculate.

However, in the early drafts, she would have the second highest evasion rate in the entire game. Displaying how she can dash across rooms in a split second. Her speed is almost unparalleled.

Pretty much, this is to add more reason to the battle system. Makes you take it more seriously.

However, even after your character dies, you're welcome to create a new one and start again. But it cannot be the same as the previous one.

I actually liked the way how Vagus turned out. Out of all the characters I made, I got attached to him the most. ME WON'T LET HIM DIE UNTIL HE'S RESOLVED HIS PAST!
