Okay,
Suddenly there is a new button in your menu!
"My bookmarks"
To add a topic to your bookmarks... You just go to the topic... And click on the "Add bookmarks" button. This is where the buttons for "Reply" and such are.

PowPow & I test this... When a new post is made in a bookmarked thread... no irritating notification pops up ... but you don't see eg '[1]' next to it... So yeah, just click it to check if there is new stuff :P

I actually don't have a button to bookmark, nor the My Bookmarks tab
