The best storylines always belong to JRPGs. Very few amount of exceptions.I don't know about very few exceptions. There's all the old point and clicks, like monkey island and survival horror like silent hill and Resident Evil. There's a lot more good stories outside of RPG's than people remember. RPG's have the advantage of course though, their full purpose is to tell you a story.
I like the assassins creed story line starting of the secondWhaaaaaaaat? ._.

Ruined the world, and all indications are given that the world can actually be fixed.Touché.
I dare to say that LucasArts where masters in storytelling. When they wanted to be I guess, but they had a tendency to milk Star Wars for all it was worth. Must be at least 30 Star Wars games, only a few gems in the rocks. Though their other non-star wars games were pretty good I hear.
The best storylines always belong to JRPGs. Very few amount of exceptions.Scratch that. I've wised up after doing a lot of research on the gaming industry :P
And as for me, I'm not big on storylines but I think I was very interested with Earthbound.Go play Mother 3 now.
