An argument that must be setteled

Ok so my friend presented me with an arguement and I disagree with him comletely. The arguement is that Tifa from ffvii marries Barret.

I dissagree completely with said statement but i have not found evidence that sopports or break his arguement. So i leave it to tbe arpegi community.

whos right? please leave referances to your cinclusions so i can read it later

If you can't find evidence to support his argument, then why is this even an argument in the first place? Unless he's found something you haven't, you're basically just taking his word for it.

the whole thing is that he says she marries barret and i dont beleive him nd tell him that. he then told me to prove it and i havnt yet. i just cant see barret marring tifa.... i mean.... how could she?! she obviously loves cloud.

Since your friend is the one with something to prove, he's the one who should be looking for evidence, not you.

Anyway, Barret did have a wife, and it wasn't Tifa.

true. He tends to present a particular bit of information and fails o actually prove it in ever case thaat ive experienced. I teend to search for the answer just to reassure that im right or wrong. the dudes actually really lazy

Tifa doesn't marry Barret in anything FFVII related that I have watched or played.

I think the reasoning behind this is that in Final Fantasy Advent Children, Tifa is suddenly wearing a ring on her wedding ring finger. And that Cloud is wearing no such ring. However Barrett is indeed wearing a ring on his ring finger, two in fact. Which could possibly mean his late wife and Tifa.

That is probably the strongest argument you will ever get to support the statement. The fact that Marlene lives with Tifa and Cloud doesn't mean much, since Marlene is always house jumping.

Of course, its been said that there is no solid evidence, your friend is just speculating. However it isn't wrong to do so, the creators of Final fantasy actually promote speculation in all of their games, especially FF8 and FF9.

I don't think so, because from what I know, it is arguable that she slept with cloud at the end of disc 2

and if it's true, than that means Barrett saw it if you remember the scene at the very beginning of Disc 3, but he didn't get pissed

Thats a long running debate, although Tifa was indeed embarrassed that the other crew members apparently saw what Cloud and Tifa did below the Highwind, its more feasible that they were just cuddling, I mean sex on a rock? Thats pretty bumpy yo~

Either way, it would still make Barrett pissed if they were cuddling... Considering he has a low temper to begin with

True, but it could be one of those silent rages. I mean there have been times when Barrett has been angered or displeased but he resorted to huddling into a corner and blocking off his anger. Or maybe due to his emotional growth throughout the story, he did seem to mature as time went on.
