Veoh: Well, in hindsight, thieves had a good cause somewhat....stealing for the unfortunate, like in the tales of Robin Hood. Then we were seen as criminals and we didn't know what to say. stealing from those who didn't deserve it was in some stories of thievery, as I read.

Lore: * Nods. * With thieves I actually meant if they would steal our belongings for no reason. Just for own benefit and such. Like the guy who stole Kris's blade, those we hunt down.

Lore tapped with the back of her pencil on her paper.

Lore: Hrm... What if... There is somebody cheating with the hunter system. How would we be able to discover that?

Lore: Yeah, this is going to be tricky... Unless, wait... we look for patterns. Your parents... My parents...---!!!! * GASPS. * Bingo.

Lore writes the word "kids" on the paper in the middle.

Lore: What if my parents where kidnapped as well? That would mean, they are either locked away... OR... they had their trail. If they were even ninja's. It would explain why I have such agility and such from birth. More then a normal Neko. So, we might have to look for Neko Ninja Clans.

Lore: So, let's see. Veoh, we might have a big case on our hands here. Somebody might be messing with the Hunters for a while now. Several Hunters went corrupted like my between quotes parents did. If we would look over the logs and such, we would easily find that my parents were kidnapping parents and trying to take the kids themselves. But you escaped from it, most likely I was younger.

Lore then wrote "Memory Masters" on her paper.

Lore: On other thing. There might be a Memory Master messing here too.

Lore: Let's go to Diamanda. I know she is a Memory Master as well, and I don't want Marian to know about this. Let this be outside of the family for now. This is TOO big of a case to get them involved. Not that I'm selfish now but if we make one wrong move... The whole team will be on all the hunter's their list.

Zana: Exactly. After a big family party, we stand in a dark room around candle light, standing in a circle.

Marian: Just saying a few words. It's on a piece of paper. In a way promising actually that we accept how Broye's live and that we try to accept the values of the family in our lives.

Mika: * Nods. * But the kids don't have to say it. They are too young and as you can see... It's written in Old English~

Blaire: They family is over 20000 years old.~

Blaire: Since the old English can be a bit unclear & confusing... Do you all know what the Broye values are?

Jonez: I know them by heart. Solving problems together. As little secrets towards another Broye as possible.

Zana: Good, sweety~~

Marian: And always trying to do our best and stay ourselves. That are the three main values of the Broye's in a nutshell.

Lore: * Knocks on the gates. * Well, this is good. Demons aren't stopped here. I had to quit a job in an Angel verse once due to stereotyping.

After that, everybody started to read the text together. In old English the values are explained. The text is poetic, well written and not too long. It has rather short sentences and Blaire still finds it to this day inspiring. For Blaire & Marian, the family heads, the text wasn't that important. It was the symbolism of the promise and the circle. The promise to be a Broye and be a family. And the circle stands of course for the bound. Being all together. And the candle in the middle, it represents the spirit of the Broye family. After the text is read, Zana blows out the candle.

Jonez takes Ariel's arm, with her Heroine Mark and then shows his Heroic Mark.

Jonez: Notice how mine is way bigger then my daughters. And bigger then when it would naturally grow. This means I'm promoted to the highest rank in Heroism. A Lead Hero. I'm together with Phido, Lead Hero of the Eastern District. Phido became Lead Hero because of Tymo. It's was a reward for him actually, but he gave it to his daughter. Tymo became one because he helped Lords to train their Assistants. Masa, Anna & I are trained by him & Kinag.

Blaire: * Nods. * They trained them the most.

Jonez: Anyways, now I am Lead Hero as well. And no, I didn't expect this.. AT. ALL.
