* Jonez teleports himself & Hei to the city in the mainland where Nanthy & Hei met. *

Jonez: So Hei... Oh... I forgot to tell you something... You know that I am a Freelance Assistant and that my lord is Kinag, the angel lord .. right?

* Hei retraces his steps in the city.

* Hei eventually exits the city and enters a forest. There's a bit of ash in the air.

Hei: So you're like a General now.... but wait... I didn't see you command them once... So do you use them rarely?

* Hei stops in the part of the forest where Jonez and Melfice fought once. This part of the forest is still burned and destroyed.

Jonez: !!! I remember this place... But anyways... That day I heard that my lord gave me that trust to lead his High Guards... That Hope was proud of me that I led the Centurions so well in battle instead of her... And that Vantiem accepts that I see him as my fatherly figure when my real father is away... Made me realize that I am already doing a awesome job... I am dreaming to become a Sub-Lord... But if I can't realize that dream.. Well... So be it then... I am damn happy as a Freelance Assistant and with the position I am in now.

* Hei walks through the burned forest.

Hei: By the way, Jonez... why do you want this much power? I mean... you've already got much of that, not to mention a family, a lot of friends... so why seek more of it?

Jonez: Well... It isn't for the power to me.... I had a VERY rough past... and my family helped me to get all those past issues and basically made me who I am now... All their love & respect... I wanted to pay them back. With proving that I am worthy of doing great things... And Sub-Lord brother... Is the highest rank I want... Even if I am forced into it. If they ever offer me to become a Lord in another verse... I refuse. Really. And I said before... I dream of it... But if I don't reach it... Meh, I tried and that proves enough to my family how thankful I am that they give this importunity?

* Hei stands before an abandoned building. A broken facility of sorts.

* Hei enters the facility. A wretched smell of decay is present throughout the facility.

Hei: Ugh... I'm surprised they didn't discover this place with this putrid smell. Anyway...

* Hei walks over the dead decaying bodies clothed in black. Some of the corpses are already nothing but bones

Hei: My tank should be here somewhere... the logs about my development should be there.

You know, there was a lethal virus here that wiped out every scientist and experiment here. Nobody survived but me. Oh, and don't worry, the virus has a weird habit of neutralizing itself after some time. It should be gone by now... But it's odd, really. Like someone gave an effort to save this young boy that stands here right now.

Jonez: * Smiles * Maybe they knew that you were going to meet us and that they thought that you would be on your place. But... Could it be that the virus attacks me...

* Loth: Don't you worry Jonez... I will neutralize it before it has even the chance to do something.

Hei: So they're gonna kill the whole facility off just to get to you? Hmm... I don't think so. Anyway, I think I found it.

* Hei approaches the tank. There's a label on top. The letters are faded, but still readable. It reads "ATH X ARE BLA SE09SU17".

Hei: Reminds me of why I chose a one syllable name.

* Hei notices a black monitor. Are some disk readers and a keyboard.

Hei: This must be the logs... do you mind if you wait for a while? I'm gonna shuffle through the files...

Jonez: Brother... * Smiles * I am a computer scientist too... I was a teacher for 2 years so I can help you finding if there are files hidden and such.

Hei: Status reports... daily drug intakes... no... nutrient intakes... no... Oh, there it is... Status logs.

* Hei's face makes a look of discontent.

Hei: This isn't what I'm looking for... not to mention it says that I'm "terminated". If that's the case, then I should be dead... Wait, hold on... there's another folder... "P*^RSONAL L)G#".... I think it says Personal logs... weird... it must've been corrupted... or was it intentional?

Hei: Hey, Jonez, can you restore this folder? I wanna see what's in it...

Jonez: ... Hrmm... Let's see...

* Jonez does various things ... Brings up many different screens and after 10 minutes Jonez nods. *

Jonez: It's not corrupted ... it's encoded... Give me some seconds to decode.

* Jonez starts trying out various characters to make the coded texts make sense. *

Jonez: ... And there we go. Folder restored and you can view it.

Hei: Oh, thanks. Encoded? But why?

* Hei quickly skims through the content. Eventually, his face from intrigued to serious... then to disbelief... eventually, his eyes started to water. He quickly grabs a blank CD and shows it to Jonez.

Hei: ...Jonez, can you give me a back-up of this now? ...Please.

Jonez: Brother... 

* Jonez places the files on a USB.

Jonez: I am here for you... whatever you read.

* Jonez places his hand on Hei's back.

Jonez: Feeling alright bro?

* Hei wipes the tear over his eye.

Hei: Thanks...

* Hei puts the USB in his pocket.

Hei: You could say that I had my first mother here before I woke up...

* Hei walks away, but not before grabbing an oil container and spreading it around the facility. He tosses the container after emptying it and looks at Jonez.

Hei: Let's leave.

Jonez: Shall I give you the fire ...? Brother..

* Jonez & Hei leave the facility.

Hei: Yeah. I got what I needed. There's nothing left for in me there.
