Blitzle - It's always good to have an electric pokemon and this is the only good one till you get Tynamo, which you can get after the 5th gym.
Drilbur (if you're lucky) - Ground types are very useful in black/white, and this one is ridiculously good at sweeping if you train it right.
Munna - Psychic types are also needed in this game, and the only other psychic type early-game is Swoobat.
Pansage/ Pansear/ Panpour - Really only good till mid-game but they can be useful.
Venipede - A good physical sweeper if you need one.
Tympole - A good water type and the only really useful one for end-game if you didn't choose the water starter.

All these can be gotten at or before the 2nd Gym.


I'm sure that there a few more but I just replace them with stronger ones as I went along.

BTW, my pokemon league team was


Samurott - I always choose water as my starter.
Golurk - Good physical sweeper and my FLYing pokemon
Lilligant - My main sweeper. Petal Dance + Own Tempo + 110 Base Sp. Atk = OVERKILL!
Darmanitan - Fire type
Zoroark (I got it from an event) - Dark type to deal with psychic types
Beheeyem - Psychic type to deal with fighting types
