After a long day of Poke'ing and fapping, I still haven't done enough to be productive.

I haven't found any of the gyms hard, but thats mainly cuz I'm always 10 levels higher lol (grinding addiction starts to show)

haven't you got any super-effective types to work with, like electricity or something?

I got a vibrava with rock throw, an azumarill with rollout and a whirlipede with rollout.
My whirlipede useless against her, though.
And this is my current team:

Azumarine (Azumarill) lvl. 31
Scorpo (Whirlipede) lvl. 28
Screwbat (Crobat) lvl. 29
Smugleaf (Servine) lvl. 29
Espeon (Espeon) lvl. 32

Okay, here is my tactic. Don't use Vibrava for this one, his defense is too low and flying types are more physical attack orientated, he'll die quickly no matter who hits him. If I were you I'd focus on using Azumaril, level him up a bit more and then spam water tail (which will provide STAB). The only problem with rollout is that it takes a few turns for it to build momentum and you really don't want to be waiting it out, Azumarill is tough but not tough enough to stall.

Espeon should be on reserve, should all else fail just use your strongest psychic type move for STAB.

Well I guess its speed and strength is worth noting, but if it doesn't one-hit KO then its in a bit of danger if the opponent attacks.
Regardless I guess all thats needed is some leveling, so long as they are leveled enough it doesn't really matter what pokemon takes the gym.

To be fair I think that makes sense regardless, flying types have a naturally low Sp.Def and fire types are quite bulky in the Sp.Atk Though its quite remarkable since Ninetails have lackluster stats, tending to be built more towards speed, only a decent movepool to depend on. So praise is in order.

Ninetales has a GREAT MOVE POOL

It's debatable, its a relatively wide movepool but Ninetails lacks the optimum offensive stats to fully utilize it. Though it's good for quick swipes and status attacks such as hypnosis and confuse ray, due to its speed. Sadly even with proper EV training its offensive stats won't breach even the 300 barrier. So whether or not you'd class it as "great" in competitive gaming is completely debatable.
If I had to call it anything It'd be a support member, its not strong enough to be a sweeper.
