Despite popular belief, Nega's are formed due to a virus that integrates itself into the human body and amplifies all the negative aspects of the host, anger, hatred ect. Normally when a virus takes over a human body they lose all sense of self and become hatred filled beings called "Drones" but if the subject is strong willed enough they can retain their sense of self and become "Negas" which -choose- to destroy, rather than the Drones acting simply through instinct.
The Nega virus can only be spread when the target as been sufficiently reduced to a weak state of mind for the virus to take over, then afterwards it will be a battle of wills between the virus and the host, this will determine whether a Drone or Nega is born.
Negas are stronger and faster than the average human, however they lack logical thought processes and their intellect is mainly focused on real-time battle tactics, rather than planning ahead.

So a war is going on huh, hatred and conflict is abundant......perfect~
