I know my boyfriend wouldn't. ^w^
However, I sort of doubt this is a general question for some reason..!
So to answer your general question in the most non-general way
If my girlfriend were to like to me about wanting to talk to me and is telling me she were busy, I would give her the benefit of the doubt and leave her be; let her know I'll be there for her whenever she feels fit to come along and talk to me. Maybe hint at my suspicions without really accusing her of anything, even if I know for a fact that she is lying to me.
I would something subtle like "I'm okay with it if you'd like some space." in the most sincere way possible. I don't mean to say that it should -sound- sincere, I mean it to BE sincere.
Just don't make her feel like you're cornering her if you decide to address her on this issue, you know? Be assertive, not aggressive.
Aggression can be any sentence that starts out with "You..." or something, like "You always blah blah blah" or "You don't blah blha lbhaladk" so be careful when doing that.
Oh... But uh...
This is just about me and my hypothetical girlfriend of course. No need to take any of this to mind.
