"It does take time to get used to it...That kind of magic isnt my fortê but I can 'protect' your staff from the ground. Remember how I put the protective spell on that grave? The idea is, once my advanced spell is cast, any outside force wether it be physical, magical, or by nature cannot harm the magic casted grave. Essentially itll stay forever in perfect condition. Such a spell wears me out though. I get weak for a time. If I cast my spell on you and your staff understand that its permanent."

In theory, the spell will 'force' the staff to stay off the ground and give the illusion of flying. Also, in theory, if any magical storage is used as a feul sourse, say a crystal or metal, the amount of magical energy inputted throughout the staff or to isolated parts. You can control the 'flight'. In rare cases if mastered you could use this as an attack. If I do this, just remember yourestuck with this spell. This ishow advanced my peoples protection magicworks but even this barely scratches the surface

"Just to clear up too, when I say 'attack' I mean, maybe wake someone to get away with you, like say Walter if he makes an advance on you. Cant really use it in battle, not unless you wanna make the people and things we fight annoyed."

Askardi whips around at the sound of some mumbling of the side of the road. "Wait here a moment Melodia..."
He dismounts and goes to investigate. He walks over the bank of the road and into the brush, scanning the ground. His eyes pass a pile of dark something, he passed over it thinking nothing more of it until it budged slightly and a low moan come from underneath. Askardi walks towards the man and stops a safe distance away. "Who are you, where are you from? How did you come to be here? Do you need anything?"

The man gives nothing but a gaze. His face covered in dirt and his lips are as dry as rock. The way he groans sounded like two jagged rocks rubbed together. " Auuughhh...." He answers none of the questions, save for one. "Water..."

Askardi gets his water sac from his stalion and runs back to the man. He brings the spout up to the mans mouth and he tilts the mans head back gently.

"Drink..."

The man greedily drinks from the sac. After drinking it all, the man feels a bit refreshed and awake. He wipes his mouth of all the water he wasn't able to drink. " Thank you. I'm in your debt."

Moments later, a growling sound came from his stomach. He scratches his head in embarrassment. " Do you, by any chance... have something that I could eat?"

"Of course." Askardi leaves again to his horse and goes into a new storage sac and takes out some pig meat. He brings it back to the man and starts a small fire out of rocks. "While you wait for this to cook... explain yourself?"

Melodia sat quietly by the horse, wondering if she should have the spell gone through with. She didn't want the staff to be useless like that, but she couldn't really take much more riding.
