"Were you calling me a second ago?" Melodia asked. "I...uh...wandered off to...uh.....find Nom something to play with." She looked around awkwardly. "Uh....yeah, let's go with that." The girl got up and stretched a little. "So....would running work instead of riding or being carried?" She asked. "I can run real fast."

Meanwhile in the Muram Grasslands, Koel and Walter are still endlessly searching for the winged being. Koel stands atop a small hill as the gentle wind blows through the grass, softly brushing Koel's hair to the side as he gazes to the large expanse of grasslands before him. He lets out a soft sigh, gripping the handle of his sword, holstered underneath his arm.

Koel: This is taking longer than expected, I hope the others are having more luck......then again...the horn wasn't sounded.

Suddenly Walter runs up behind Koel and falls down, breathing heavily at Koel's feet. His arms and legs stretched out comically as he rests himself on the soft grassy hill.

Walter: Man its been almost 2 days, or was it 3....heck I don't know anymore. I'm so exhausted.

Koel: Thats funny, because all you were asked to to was go back to the carts and fetch me some water......

Walter:.......right, about that.....

Koel: Nevermind.....have you seen Melodia, Askardi or Nemmy lately?

Walter: Nope, not at all. I seem to have lost track of my darling Nemmy, the other two could be anywhere, they certainly were not back at camp.

Walter rolls over onto his back and yawns deeply, his helmet slightly falling off, showing his ruffled and scruffy hair.

The two remaining carts now form the perimeter of a small campfire. A couple of wooden planks lay on the ground as they burn intensely, about a dozen of the TMU Recruits now huddle around it as day slowly turns to night, the sun descending into the grassy hills in the distance. Leaving only the moon to watch over them.

Recruit #1: Man I wish we didn't have to rip those planks from the cart.....

Recruit #2: By the way, which cart did you pull them from?

Recruit #1: Urrmm.....

Recruit #3: God dammit you took them from the private cart didn't you, General Belkin is going to be so pissed!

Recruit #1: He won't be if you just kept it down

Some of the soldiers began to snicker and giggle mischievously as the General leers at them from the private cart. He sat alone inside, resting his cheek on his right hand, slouching in moody way.

TMU General: Those little pricks are upto something, I goddamn know it.

"Not really!" Melodia exclaimed, beginning to run and getting faster and faster until she was just ahead of Askardi. It was then apparent that she ran in a very awkward way that could possibly cause her to take a bad fall. After a moment, she tripped over a small rock that wouldn't have tripped her if she had been running normally. She had been running so fast, however, that she actually rolled away a little. "Ow..." the girl groaned, sitting up. She sighed. "You win..." The girl waved in surrender, standing up. Her arms and legs were littered with scrapes, and it was obvious she'd probably have some bruises later.

Koel and Walter are walking through the mass of grassy fields endlessly, Koel taking point and walking in a casual manner, while Walter slowly trudges behind in a childish way, tilting his head back and trailing his arms behind.

Walter: Are we there yet?

Koel: What are you talking about, we don't even know where we are going....

Walter: So no then?....Oh god, we're gonna die in this place!

Koel: I wish Askardi and the others took you with them........

Walter seemingly ignores Koels remark, keeping up his childish attitude as the sky begins to slowly fade into night time. The stars starting to become visible as the twinkle softly next to the massive moon that dominates the sky.

Koel: The camp isn't far off, wanna rest here for a bit?

Walter then suddenly jumps face first onto the ground, with arms and legs outstretched. Hitting the ground with a thump, his face planted into the ground and not moving.

Koel:.....uhh.....you okay?

Walter......

Koel: I'm never having kids.....

"I'm okay," Melodia replied. "I meant to do that." She started running again, her running still awkward. "See ya later!" She called.

"ÑÜ!" Askardi calls back to his horse. Both it and the newcommer charges forward. Askardi jumps onto the horse behind the simple man and together they chase forward. Effortlessly catching up

The aroma from Cerbit's meat is gently carried to Koel and Walters general area. The smell is inviting

Walter slowly unplants his face from the ground and begins to walk around on all fours, sniffing into the air.

Walter: Oh dayum that smells good!

Koel looks blankly at Walter, not really that surprised by his antics. Simple folding his arms and looking at him.

Koel: You never have a normal day, do you?

Walter then picks himself up and begins running in the direction of them aroma. Drooling and licking his lips as he ran. Koel slowly walked in his direction with a passive attitude.
Koel: What am I saying, this is Walter-normal I guess....

Walter then finally reached an odd sight, he noticed a small grotesque figure holding a large piece of meat in a weapon like manner. Walters face then dropped.

Walter:.....eh? what the hell is that?

The figure is unmoving and unaware of the man in front of him. The meatstick hung about Walters nose as if tempting him to take it

Walter crouches down and digs his hand into the grass ground and covers his fingers in soil, then smears the soil in the form of two lines under each eye, in a very intense manner.

Walter: That meat is mine, even if I have to take it by force.....just you wait you gooberbloby thing.

Koel slowly walks up behind Walter and then shakes his head in a disapproving manner, then he looks upto the strange figure. Koel slowly tightens his grip on his blade, pushing his right foot back slightly and taking a defensive stance. He whispers to Walter

Koel: What do you think you are doing, you idiot. Thats from the Goblin family......you don't just rush into fights with them.

Walter looks back to Koel with an intense look on his face, determined and serious.

Walter: He has meat Koel, you don't understand, he has meat!

The goblins eyes shoot open then narrow to slits. He glares intensly, unnervingly at the two. He remains unmoving and unspoken, as if it were a warning

Walter then dons a surprised look on face, rubbing the dirt from under his eyes and crawling behind Koel. Gripping onto his legs and whimpering.
Walter: Did you see that? Man that was sooooooo evil. Okay Koel, do your thing!

Koel: I hate you....I really do.

Walter: Thats nice honey, but you have a fat Goblin to defeat, oh and get that meat from him, pretty please~

Koel then wearily looks to the Goblin and draws his blade, holding it to the side of him outstretched, wielding the heavy blade with one hand.

Melodia stopped once she got to the cart. "We're back!" She called. "Hello?" The girl looked around. "Where is everyone?" The girl half-collapsed on the cart. "Man, that was a long run..."

As Melodia reached the carts, the TMU soldiers huddled around the nearby campfire looked to her.

Recruit #1: Oh your back eh, the others are still out there somewhere.

Recruit #2: Its already nightfall, you should probably get some rest.

Recruit #3: You're welcome to join us if you want, we're just taking a break from our nightshift.

The voice was rough and the laugh rouffer. The goblin still doesnt move from his spot. Instead with a dark gnarled hand he points to Koel and Walter and says in a dark evil broken voice, "'Hen ge' it."

Askardi arives on the horse shortly after. He addresses the men, whats the status?

Koel pushes Walter back and runs towards the goblin, his sword cutting through the air beside him as he ran.
Koel: Time to die, beast!

A battle stirs

Cerbit Brim (Goblin) vs Koel

Battle Objective: Fend off the Goblin

Battle theme:

Commence Conflict!

Koel runs upto the goblin and drags his blade through the ground and slashes the goblin upwards into the air with a horizontal slice. Then he kicks himself into the air and slices the Goblin numerous times, finally grabbing it by the leg and launching it back down to the ground with a great impact.
Koel then lands back down on the ground and waves his sword to the side of him.
Walter: Oh Koel, you're so epic
Koel: Shut up....

One of the recruits begins to rummage through his satchel and pulls out a small loaf of bread, he breaks a reasonably sized piece off and holds it out to Melodia.

Recruit #1: Here you go little girl~

Another recruit looks to Askardi and simply shrugs, summing up all the other recruits feelings on the subject.

Recruit #2: There isn't much to tell, we've been looking for days, no sign of the winged being or Darka. But the General insists we continue.
