To be fair thats a wise decision, I have a lv42 Lucario and I really want to swap him, yet I've put so much effort into training him. He's a hard hitter but he takes hits like a bitch.

Which is kinda ironic seeing as he's part steel.

Yeah, normally steel types have high defense but his is rather mediocre. Which doesn't bode well when hit by a fighting type move.

I'll say now (since you have the same version as me) that there isn't an awful lot of electric types apart from the rather terrible Galvantula, if I were you I'd stick around that ranch and see if you can obtain a Mareep. That's the best electric type you'll find.

Well, Galvantulas are much faster but are quite weak. So I guess if you were using them for status effects then they'd be useful. If you want a power-built electric type then Mareeps are the way to go :p

but the rest of your team is a solid starter team anyway, so I guess it wouldn't matter much either way~

Your gonna need Lucario for the 2nd gym, believe me. Its either him or Magnemite or Genesect. I had all 3 and the gym was a breeze.
