I like to think of the Pokemon series as a car company.

All cars have the same basic stuff; engines, chassis, doors, windows, wheels, etc. Just like how Pokemon's gameplay has the same core mechanics; finding and catching pokemon, trading them, fighting pokemon battles, beating gym leaders and becoming champion. It's how the company changes and innovates the already tried and true design that makes it great. I mean how would you feel about a car company that thinks "Hey, this car was made in 1968, can  only go 2 miles per gallon and emits a ton of pollution, but it's the best we've made by then and we don't need to change it"?

I know that...But you see where I live every/any console and console related stuff are really hard to find and even if I find 'em they are EXTREMELY high prised
