To each their own. Truth be told, I haven't played any of the FF games (the numbered ones) after IX.

My favorite FF game list is something like this:
1. IV
2. VI
3. VII
4. IX
5. V

VIII is decent if you can overlook the broken Junction system, and the tedium of drawing magic. If you're using a guide, you shouldn't need to draw magic too often, iirc.

That's cool. V is my number 3, actually.

I actually played VIII longer than I played VII, but yeah, the junction and draw systems put me off of it.

Before you judge, I like know XIII is usually not considered great, but I only think that is because it's compared to the Final Fantasy Standards. If you don't compare it to older games, I think it's a great game

I didn't really like the cutesy chibi look they went for in the DS versions. I liked the PSP remake of IV, though.

Anyway, my top 5 list is:

I rather Liked FFTA but A2 Imo is really Shitty Compared to the previous Game

I played Advance quite some time after completing Tactics Ogre:The Knight of Lodis and ffa didn't even come close to lodis's standards leaving me to want more
