THIS IS NOT A GRAMMAR NAZI THREAD, THIS IS A THREAD FOR ANYONE WHO HAS QUESTIONS ABOUT GRAMMAR
I actually have one myself: Is the word "also" a helping verb, linking verb, or not a verb at all?

I am not English myself but I would find it odd if "also" is a verb... Comparing it with Dutch... It certainally isn't. Since you don't say.. I also.. You also(s).. And so on and so forth. But now that I think about it.. My answer is a linking verb... I could be wrong.

I didn't think it was. But I had an assignment where we are asked to say what kind of verb it is and the placement of also in the sentence seed to make it a verb
