Arpegi... Well, it's easy to say that Arpegi is the community I love. Since childhood I have been doing creative things like making indy arcade games or little small remixes... I always made a forum for it or a website.
Arpegi is actually my biggest success yet. Since there is a manga in the make of the story I am writing on ... You clearly see how this forum can turn in something ever greater and better.
Every single member has something unique. NekoSmash, my (internet) brother... is just awesome and great in RP'ing along with my (sometimes high) standards. Melfice (Illudia) ... may seem like a odd guy at first but once you get to know him... You learn a funny guy, with his own personality and set of laziness... He might be a she... and She might be a he... It's a riddle... And the answer is only know by a select few.
Then you have Shredcore & Mizari, my two best buddies in life. They allow me to speak about stuff... Like the dark part of my soul... The pains I go through and always pull me through. Playing jokes and tricks on each other non stop but hey... We are there when we need each other.
Toffee... Well, he is just a great man. A bit older as me but he is a person I can relate too... He is awesome to RP with... He is a skilled writer like me... But the total opposite style. While my style is "light" ... Toffee's style is actually "dark". Which makes for deep and epic plot twists and turns.
Bloodlust... Man, I just wanna hang out with you one day... Going around.. Getting to the bar and doing stuff... You are a good friend and your humor in the RP always makes me smile.
But Arpegi is more then only RP'ing too me... Although I mostly "disappear" in the RP... You have a shit load of members who are always helping you out. Like once... NekoBot asked for a drawing of a skiing penguin. I don't know for sure if it was meant for a joke or not but Light made that drawing. A sign of a community ready for something bigger.
MSG... Who can forget about our ubermensch? I am already planning to visit him soon... Since he just lives a ferry ride away. Drink a beer and explore the UK... Where also the next person lives... Mr. PowPow or Darren...
Darren, you are so honest and so kind that I sometimes think that you stole my personality and added more perviness. (Yes, I just made up a word.) And I really mean this as a compliment. If I need to point out a second person on this forum expect Smashy who I see as a brother it has to be you.
I can go on and on about each of you all... Male & female... It doesn't matter to me... You guys have all something I like about you... Something about you all make me smile, laugh and have a good time...
But why does this all have to do with... why are we the best community...? Simple, if the members are having fun... The community is good. New idea's to improve the place are told to the admin and always open for discussion... Like in the debates... Also, when arguments are sparked... No matter how big they are... Arpegians are always ready to forgive... In the most cases
Also, the amount of features is ... rich and good. Not too much and also not to less... There are forums out there that have way more features but most of them ... you don't use. I really have the feeling that everybody makes use of almost every feature.
I learn a lot from you guys how to improve my admin style... And really... I didn't have to use my admin powers an awful lot. The community is so respectful for the simple and basic set of rules... I actually ... "don't need them". Only to do some behind the stuff work and things like that.
In a matter of fact, we all learn here from each other... We support each other when the ship is sinking, we all respect and "love" each other... like PowPow who cranks that up to the next level ... So yeah... I don't have any complaints about Arpegi so far... Not even any regrets... Unless.. Addictive ... Meh, who gives a damn?
