As far as I could tell (after reading a few articles about a US release for Project X Zone), most of the Devs are pushing for a stateside release. Though some are still apprehensive about it for various reasons, like money (obviously), popularity (most of the games are pretty niche based and the whole game will most likely appeal to only the most dedicated fans), and some other hooplah.

Don't blame them, because Sonic 4 Episode 1, while a great nostalgia trip was a frustrating game. Episode 2 corrected a few things, and I enjoyed what I played of it. But Colors, and especially Generations should point Sonic Team in the direction they should go.
