Senator Proposes Bill to Study Violence in Games

Fucking shit, this again!? Didn't they just decide to not ban the selling of M-games to children a few months ago!?

There is some logic to violence in video games being the cause of violence, as a study was conducted in a prison and they found that not one single inmate had an original idea for the crime they committed, they got the idea from either a movie, book or a game. Though most had the intent to commit a crime before the idea had been given to them, so I guess violence in games is only really a bad thing when its being played by a person that is in need of inspiration.

BUT THE LARGER thing in the whole Violence thing is the Society as the whole, for example the fact you can Buy Assault Rifles from the Local Store and the lack of Teaching the Young ones that some things are no no

True, but to be honest after studying sociology, my view of crime has become increasingly less negative. In some cases its almost necessary.

I think its interesting to an extent, though I just dislike how it talks about the problems within society but never decides on a solution. Kinda like an old man that complains about everything he sees.

I'm not sure I think it was the tutor, he was a cock. I loved psychology though, it changed the way I saw people, and made me realise why people do things. I can tell you within 30 seconds of meeting someone what they are like, whether they are insecure etc etc, I think it should be compulsory, it's the most useful course I ever did.
