Nah. One DEFINITIVE title comes along and it ends it right there. Everything that comes after is a pale imitation or a "throwback" to this "one" title/series.


Whether "The Last of Us" is this "definitive" title, we'll have to wait and see.

Hey, Jonez. Did you hear that the new Zelda Wii U game is going to be made by infinity ward? Apparently it's an FPS with fantasy themes. There are "killstreaks" similar to CoD, like when you get 5 kills in a row you get a "Deku Nut Carpet Bomb". Talk about a bad ending to one of the best things Nintendo put out.

Naughty Dog explicitly stated that it's not really a "zombie game" but a "a love story about a father-daughter-like relationship". Quotation marks said verbatim.

So the comparison might only be on the story. Gameplay? I don't think so. I played the demo and it's not really that unique. But it's sure as hell tense and exciting.

Yeah, it's more of an immersive experience than a game with great gameplay. Emotional people would love it I suppose.
